Welcome to Boughton-under-Blean Parish Council
Your Parish Council is the closest tier of local government to you and works on behalf of parish residents to make the village a wonderful place to live.
Through our monthly meetings, we provide residents with a democratic voice and a structure for taking community action. The public are encouraged to attend our regular meetings, which are usually held on the second Tuesday of each month (excluding August).
This website provides information for you to see what the Parish Council is doing to serve the community.

KEEP WARM THIS WINTER
The Parish Council and Boughton Church are facilitating a range of warm hub locations across the parish. Venues and dates for February are available HERE These venues are to provide a safe space, to keep warm and enjoy free hot refreshments during the winter months.
Remember that the village library is also a publicly available venue, which is warm and welcoming.
DO YOU LIVE IN ONE OF THE CONSERVATION AREAS?
Did you know that living in a conservation area means that there are some extra planning controls and considerations, which exist to protect the historic and architectural elements which make the place special. They are most likely to affect owners who want to work on the outside of their building or any trees on their property. If you intend to undertake any work, you are advised to read Swale Borough Council's documentation on conservation areas More information can also be found at Historic England
