PROHIBITION OF DRIVING

TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2025

Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd works.

To allow rail works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Clockhouse Lane, Boughton Under Blean.

A closure is planned from 20th April 2025, for up to one day, between the hours of 07:00 and 19:00, or where stated on a  valid Permit (KL870FDM-53-51-200425-01 – Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd). The scheduled dates may vary for these
works with appropriate signage displayed on site and the works will be displayed on One.Network

Clockhouse Lane will be closed 10m either side of Clockhouse level crossing, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The closure is required for the safety of the public and  workforce while rail works are undertaken by Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd.

The alternative route for any through traffic is via Brenley Lane, Selling Road, Clockhouse Lane and vice versa.

Pedestrian access will be maintained during the works.
